Not Recommended Sites

Ordering drugs from these not recommended Web sites puts you and your family at risk.

Not Recommended Sites are those Internet drug outlets that appear to be out of compliance with state and federal laws or patient safety and pharmacy practice standards used by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®). NABP has reviewed over 9,600 sites and found 97% of those sites to be out of compliance.

Details about the characteristics of Not Recommended Sites, as well as additional information about NABP efforts to raise awareness about the risks of buying products from such sites are available in a report released by NABP each quarter. Reports of the past year are available below.

When you are buying medicine online, the safest way to purchase drugs is through a pharmacy accredited by the NABP VIPPS® or Vet-VIPPS® programs.
