The fake Avastin was sold to doctors in the US by Montana Healthcare Solutions and CBS News reports that a UK company with the same owner shipped the fake drugs into the US. CBS indicates that it is unknown where the drugs were originally manufactured, but investigators followed a trail of shipments from Turkey to Egypt, through Switzerland and Denmark, and then into the UK. An interview with the owner of Montana Healthcare Solutions, and information from NABP are featured in the CBS videos.
